About us
We’re Exeter Prints & Embroidery, a family-run business based in Exeter, Devon. We specialise in personalised clothing, professional workwear, embroidery and printed products for businesses, schools, clubs and individuals.
Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of producing printed clothing for a fantastic range of clients, from well-known names and national organisations to independent businesses and individuals. Our work includes jobs for Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club, The Big Step, the RNLI, GOLBOURNE Events, the NHS and WHEYD., as well as projects for influencer Perrie Sian and Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt.
We’re also proud to work with many wonderful businesses throughout Devon and across the UK, helping organisations of all sizes bring their brands to life through high-quality printed and embroidered clothing.

Our Story
Our story began back in 2006, when we met while working at PenCarrie, one of our suppliers. Little did we know we’d one day be running our own print and embroidery business together!
John was a Field Sales Executive and print and embroidery specialist, managing customer accounts and advising on everything from printing techniques and machinery to papers and embroidery threads. It gave him a wealth of hands-on experience and technical knowledge that he brings to Exeter Prints today.
I worked in Marketing, creating campaigns for the brands PenCarrie supplied, updating the website and helping produce their impressive 800+ page catalogue. Together, we developed the perfect combination of technical expertise and creative skills to start our own business. In 2020, Exeter Prints was born!
A Family Business, Through and Through
Today, we’re proud to run our family business from our home studio in Exeter, Devon. John takes care of the embroidery, customer communications, invoicing and most of the printing, while I manage the designs, website, Etsy store, social media, packaging and dispatch. I also get hands-on with printing when larger orders need an extra pair of hands!
With around 20 years of industry experience between us, we’re passionate about creating quality products and providing a friendly, personal service. When you order from Exeter Prints, you’re supporting a small family business that genuinely cares about what it creates.
A Little About Us
Away from the business, we’re a family of five, with three boys and our much-loved pet Frug, Marnie (yes, a French Bulldog crossed with a Pug – you’ll have to Google it!).
Running a business alongside family life keeps us busy, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re proud of what we’ve built together and grateful to every customer who has supported us along the way.
